It had been a really long ride in a truck from my home in a far away place to come to this place. I had my friend Jessie in my kennel with me, she helped to keep me calm cuz it was super scary! There were lots of us on this road trip, I think it was 40 dogs and at times really noisy!
It took 4 days, so the man said. I don’t know what that means exactly, but I think that must be the number of days we were altogether.
Finally, we get to a stop and I and Jessie as well as Tucker and Dora meet with this really nice lady. She says she is going to take us til our new mom’s and dad’s meet with us! This was exciting!! We were no longer going to ride in the big loud truck!!
A while later the nice lady and the man are talking about some papers that our new mom’s and dad’s had to have otherwise we couldn’t go to our new homes! *sigh* so we just had to wait a bit.
FINALLY!!!
We get to meet our new mom’s and dad’s! I was nervous and excited, but I was so scared to come out of the big kennel that I shared with Jessie. But then I met this very nice lady that I didn’t know was going to be my new mommy. She was so kind, she spoke very softly to me cuz she knew I was so scared. She had another dog with her, he was checking everything out. I learned his name was Blaze.

It was super busy, lots of noises, and dogs talking. So much to say!!
Mom really spent time with me and I feel instantly in love with her! She loves me! She wants me to go home with her!
I was so happy, the long ride, all the other dogs, it was so worth it! I wasn’t going to be alone anymore and she would help me to learn that it would be ok to love and trust again. I know I’m pretty timid still, I have been through some stuff that wasn’t very nice.
I’ve had some of the best sleep I could ever imagine. I’ve started to growl a little when stranger noises or other dogs come by my new home. I don’t want anyone to come and take me away! Oh and the food! I have had some of the BEST food a doggie could ever have! Raw Chicken Drumsticks and Chicken hearts! So yummy!
